About Us

We are a family owned business located in Central Wisconsin, USA. We work with clients and web pros from all over the world.

I’m Dustin Czysz, founder at Klovera. I’ve been involved with website design, strategy and development since 1999. Over the past two decades I’ve worked with Silicon Valley start-ups, local government, entrepreneurs, universities, artists, dancers, mom & pop shops, Fortune 500 companies, manufacturers, and online retailers. Below are a few of the people and organizations I’ve had the honor to collaborate with:

Choosing Klovera as our company’s website design and management company was an easy decision. We’ve developed a great partnership with Dustin and his team over the years. Their dedication to optimizing our complex website and enhancing our company’s professionalism is evident in all aspects of their work. Very strategic, engaged and a pleasure to work with. We appreciate their attention to detail and creative approach to bringing our brand and messaging to life online.

Rebecca Sonnentag, VP Promotions & Communications, County Materials Corp.

Dustin is a cutting edge technologist with an extra dose of integrity. He is motivated to make sure that things work as they are supposed to and he sees things through until that happens. His out of the box thinking has lead to some elegant solutions that other technologists might have missed. He brings this intelligence to his Klovera venture and it shows in the products that they design. It’s a pleasure to work with Dustin and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Griffin de Luce, Founder CTO, METASAMURAI

I’ve worked with Dustin 3+ years on two of our company’s websites. I value his ability to bring my vision to reality and keep the sites up to date. Dustin has a real talent for understanding your needs and creating the best realization of your ideas.

Andrew Hessedal, VP Operations, Innovative Industries, Inc.

I have had a five plus year working relationship with Dustin and recommend him without hesitation.

Dale Walker, Director of Business and Industry, Fox Valley Technical College

In my role as Internet Creative Director for a large, privately-held company that managed 12 highly profitable, distinct, e-commerce websites Dustin became my go-to for any projects that needed to be outsourced, and would consult with me on the desired user experience, which technology would work best, and then do the actual development. In short: I highly recommend Dustin as a knowledgeable resource for development, design, consulting and marketing.

Pia Gandt, Creative Director, Colony Brands

How we work:

We focus on building long-term relationships. The majority of our work is for clients that have been with us for ten or more years where we have become an integral part of their business — a sort of ‘virtual web department.’

We do not focus on turnover – that is, getting as many projects through the door as possible. Instead, we take the time to learn your business and find the best way to provide lasting value. We are in this for the long haul and won’t disappear as soon as the project goes live.

Our company has 3 driving principles:

  1. Always be moving towards a goal: We make it a priority to understand your business model, industry, goals and resources. This is the knowledge that guides us to making a positive impact on your business.
  2. Consistently deliver value: The web industry moves fast! We are continuously learning and iterating so we can pass on the latest technologies and techniques to keep you moving forward.
  3. Remain nimble: The majority of our work is done by in-house talent. We also have a network of trusted vendors and contractors that allows us to rapidly expand or contract our team to suit each client’s needs and budget. This enables us to work remotely and keep our overhead low, all while maintaining a broad range of capabilities.

Here are a few areas we can help you with:

Analytics & Strategy
Conversion Rate Optimization
Custom Development
Landing Page Design
Project Management
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
User Experience (UX)
User Interface Design (UI)
Usability Testing
Website Audits & Reviews
Website Governance
Website Management

Who we work with:

Our clients include business owners, board members, marketing managers, creative directors, and executives who recognize the value of a solid digital presence but lack some of the specialized in-house skills to make it happen.

We work best with clients who …

Have goals in mind

Without goals, you don’t know where you’re going and can’t tell when (or if) you get there. We know from experience that the clearer your goals at the outset, the better the results will be. That’s why the first thing we do for any project is work with you to define them clearly.

Have a team (or are willing to build one)

Websites take people to be done right. You will need internal resources responsible for working with us to review designs, revise strategy, create content, perform administrative tasks, etc. This could be as simple as a virtual assistant that helps out a few hours a week or a dedicated team with members from several departments in your organization. We’ll work with you to bring the right people together.

Have a budget

Websites are an investment. We are in the business of obtaining long-term clients and will do everything in our power to make sure your investment generates a positive return. This typically takes shape as reduced operational costs or building a revenue stream — often both.

The majority of our launch projects run in the $10 – $30k range. We’ve also worked on projects that run over $200k. In general, we rarely take on projects with a budget under $10k. It’s important to note that after development, websites should be budgeted as an operational cost. The standard recommendation is to budget 50 – 100% of the initial development cost for yearly maintenance, management & marketing.
